The visit marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Vietnam.
On the evening of 20 October 2026, President Tô Lâm and Mrs Ngô Phương Ly hosted a reception and concert at Glyptotek in Copenhagen to mark the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Vietnam. King Frederik X and Queen Mary attended the event at the Glyptotek. For the occasion, Queen Mary wore a prune-coloured cady midi dress by Roland Mouret, featuring a floral brooch detail.
