She accessorised the look with a diamond and pearl brooch from Queen Victoria Eugenia’s collection of heirloom jewels, which she first wore at the 2019 Military Easter Parade. 1. Perfect dress, movement in the skirt, 3/4 sleeve, and the brooch a fantastic finishing touch. King impeccable fitting uniform and suit.

  2. This dress would be better in the spring or summer. I do not care for the color of the shoes.

    1. 16:10 it is effectively still summer in Spain… but even if it weren’t, why would the dress be better in summer? In Spain it would be terribly hot to wear such a dress in summer. It’s a really good weight for cooler days including winter. Are you thinking perhaps that pink has a restricted season..?!?!

  3. Beautiful family…love the style, color and swoosh of Letizia’s dress. Leonor looks quite dignified and Sofia looks wonderful in red. The king has such gravitas whether in uniform or not.

  4. The Letizia dress I think we’ve seen before … and I could see over and over. It’s really a perfect dress in its simplicity and flare. The pearl brooch is exquisite.

  6. Why didn't Princess Leonor change into civil clothes for the reception like her father did? She is not studying at a military academy anymore. The brooch adds some interest to Queen Letizia's dress, but I don't like it, particularly that gigantic pearl in the middle that is peeping out of the brooch.

    2. Anon.06:59.And how do you know that? She already had a nice updo and a perfect makeup. Just changing clothes wouldn't take a lot of time.

  7. The King is tailored perfectly as usual. I enjoy admiring his suits, and his good looks. The Queen’s dress looks good but a little boring even with the nice jewelry.

  8. Princess Leonor did not get time to change but king did.
Infanta found her style double b baggy suits with flat shoes.
    Queen is simply beautiful.

    1. Maybe she didn’t want to? Or she thought she would need more time to change than her father. You know if she didn’t appear perfect some on this site would have no problem criticizing her.

    2. Yes the infanta has absolutely found her style in this suit and looks marvellous! I agree. Flat shoes with a trouser suit look fabulous. The suit is right on trend being loose but in her case, one of the most successful wears I’ve seen of this type of cut.

  9. The dress is beautiful. The fitted top is perfect for the flared skirt and the soft pink colour is very feminine. The pearl brooch looks lovely.

  12. Such a beautiful dress! Everything about it is exquisite, including the very delicate pale lilac color. Love to see our royal ladies in such splendid attire.

  13. Queen Letizia's dress is lovely and in a great colour. I like Infants Sofia's trouser suit but I'm not sure if the boxy double breasted jacket is the most flattering style for her. As usual I wish she would pull her hair back from her face. She looks so much better when she does.

    1. Ah Annie, we have to let such young princesses live out their young years being able to follow youth trends including hairstyles… and not just conform to older ideas. Already hard enough to be famous and photographed.

    2. Anon.03:56. Are only young princess are allowed to follow the modern trends? A lot of royal ladies in their 40s or 50s are trying to keep up with latest fashion. But the thing is that not all fashion trends are liked by everyone, e.g. the baggy pantsuit. Sofia is not the only royal who gets remarks about her hair. A lot of commentators write that they would prefer PoW to have her hair pulled from her face.

  14. Infants Sofia's pant suit looks good, I like this style and color. Letizia's dress looks beautiful, its lovely to see this rewear. The three quarter sleeves, perfect! The skirt of this dress, feminine and flattering. The swish on movement looks splendid. Her jewellery, perfect choices. The earrings are gorgeous, the brooch is beautiful. Princess Leonor looks outstanding in uniform. King Felipe, as usual looks well groomed and attired. They are a lovely family.

I agree on all points, Ava.
I am not normally wild about brooches but Letizia is the exception.
Her brooch is to die for!
I love Infanta Sofia's pantsuit, particularly the jacket.
All of them are truly beautiful and perfectly attired for the occasion.
I greatly appreciate their work ethic and sense of duty.

  15. A mon avis, l'infante Sofia a su choisir son tailleur-pantalon rouge dont le blazer dans un style croisé !
