  1. She is and looks lovely but I think carrying a clutch would, somehow, make the look a lot more chic. The bag hanging from the shoulder makes her look a little too casual. Love the earrings.

    1. If she doesn’t have someone to hand her clutch to, it might make more sense to have the shoulder strap for ease.

    2. I agree completely. She uses shoulder bags often and they do not help her outfits most of the time. A clutch would help immensely.

    3. I am sure she does not go alone to this engagements, so yes, she has someone to help her take whatever she might be holding when the situation arises.

    4. I like your practicality 16:57. The problem isn’t the bag, it’s her long time habit of clutching her hands and bag across her belly. It changed her posture, pulling her inwards. When she’s bag free she stands very well (as long as she doesn’t cross her hands again at her stomach). I think it’s a self conscious thing; I’m not criticising, I’ve just seen it over time. Full admiration for the royals who are in the public face and media and criticism so many days a year,

    5. Stephanie does have an unfortunate tendency to use purses with long-ish straps and hold them awkwardly. It detracts from the polish of her look. I think either a clutch or a purse with a short handle would look nicer for her. I like the green color of the top on her.

    6. I agree. The shoulder strap often ruins the silhouette and the whole look. A clutch bag or a top handle bag would be much better. I do like the green draped top. The wide black trousers are like columns and do not flatter her.

  2. This is a beautiful top or blouse for her. And it shows for me perfectly that it does not have to be a tent for more curvaceous/opulent ladies. If they do have a waist, they can show it!

    1. Totally agree. A fabulous top.

    2. Excellent comment. Beautifully articulated, I agree wholeheartedly with you.

  3. She looks lovely, I am not keen on the plain top and brown bottom, they are complimentary colours and the ruching of her top adds interest, but it needs a scarf or something to break up the solids. I do like the fit on her.

    1. I fail to see the brown. As for the scarf, that would add unnecessary volume. In this case, less is more. She looks elegant and polished.

    2. I think it’s black not brown (on my screen it married well with the green).

  4. I have the opposite opinion to the commenters before me: I don’t like the blouse—it makes the figure look fuller.

    1. Nothing wrong with a fuller figure. We all have our own body types. 😊

    2. Well her figure IS fuller. Whatever she wears. She receives so many comments here from people suggesting her clothes don’t fit. It must be hard to not be slim like a model and so criticised for simply being herself.

    3. I agree with 18:22 and 06:08 and her hair is styled badly.

    4. I like her hair like this. It is not badly styled.

  5. I like the fit of this top the stretchy material makes her look stunning and a curvy woman. Reminding that we are not all stick thin models

  6. We all like her personality and her smile. Not sure why she insists on bad, bad styling choices. This top is clearly not doing her any favours.

    1. Agree with the above statement about the top, does not do her any favors, it's a bad style, and her habit of crossing her hands across her stomach area has never been a good look.

    2. 19:23 wow… Stephanie does not “insist on bad bad styling choices”! That’s spectacularly unfair. She dresses beautifully and according to HER preferences. It’s not “insisting”, it’s not “bad bad”. Fashion allows us all to choose. You may have orher preferences but it’s really unfair to categorise another woman as so flawed!

  7. I'd like to see her in the blouse which would look like the one at the second photo, with the sunlight!

  8. The colour of Stephanie's top is vibrant and the style is very flattering on her. It looks great against the black pants.

  9. Very much like the colour of this top on Stëphanie, and the style too. The Fold makes some lovely pieces. The trousers look almost black on my device, so I don't think they clash with the top. I like her hair in this style too, it shows off her lovely face.

  10. Finally, a top that looks great with on a woman with curves! I hopeGDStephanie buys this top in every colour available. It’s wonderful on her. I love it with the trousers but it would also look good with a skirt. (V.M.)

  11. The Fold top looks so good, fabulous. This style and design is very flattering, suiting the GD shape beautifully. The top is a style, I have never seen her wear before. The cut and design is unusual, very attractive to the eye. I love this shade of green. This top doesn't need any accessories, it shines as it is. The two colors work in beautifully. Her side profile in the first photo, is lovely, she is very photogenic. A naturally beautiful lady and GD.

  12. Le haut est très joli, et le pantalon à la bonne longueur. Bref, c'est réussi.

  13. Très bien coiffée, Stéphanie n'est pas avantagée par ce style de top qui sculpte trop le haut de sa silhouette !

  14. I don’t believe this top/blouce flatters Stephanie. You can see from the model how the blouce should have sat on the frame. With Stephanie she needs less fussy and more structure.
I agree there’s no judgment on body shapes,we’re all made differently. Plus no one knows the size of the tag, unless you’re in the wrong size. My hope for Stephanie is she finds a designer that could dress her shape. It’s not as if she needs to shop on the high street, she could call in designers, and be advised on what would make her look her best.

    1. Yes, she could approach designers, and she does for special events, but she obviously wants to simplify her life, which is understandable with two young children and ducal duties. The trousers are dark and perfect, the top highlights her good points, the colour is striking. Compared to past outfits with figure-hugging and ill-fitting trousers, this ensemble is ideal and should be repeated, much better than blouses that look like tents.
