On 14–15 October 2026, Crown Princess Victoria visited Västernorrland County. On the second day of her visit, she toured Saab’s shipyard in Docksta, where the company primarily manufactures combat boats. She also took a ride aboard a Combat Boat 90, which was developed and is manufactured at the shipyard.
The Princess then took a cable car to the summit of Skuleberget, which rises 295 metres above the surrounding sea. At the summit lodge, she met a local entrepreneur working in the area.
The Crown Princess also attended a training exercise organised by the Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency (Myndigheten för civilt försvar, MCF) in Kramfors Municipality for organisations involved in Sweden’s total defence system. She also took part in a digital meeting with MCF personnel deployed in Ukraine.
