On 24 September 2026, the Princess of Wales visited The Forward Trust in Southend, Essex, to mark Addiction Awareness Week. The Forward Trust supports people recovering from addiction, helping them rebuild their lives. The Princess has been a Patron of the charity since 2021. She launched the first Addiction Awareness Week in 2021 on behalf of the Trust.
The Princess of Wales visited Garon Park, where The Forward Trust hosts weekly gardening sessions for people in recovery from addiction. She was shown around the cricket ground, which features a wellbeing walk and gardening area where people receiving support through The Forward Trust’s Southend Treatment and Recovery Service (STARS) can walk and talk or try their hand at gardening.

She efforlessly can fit in whatsoever surroundings.
She will make a very remarkable Queen in due time and is already very much loved and held in high esteem.
I think she deserves all the affection She gets everywhere.
