The Imperial Family Takes Part in Disaster Preparedness Drill

Every year, the Imperial Household Agency conducts disaster preparedness drills on Disaster Prevention Day. On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, along with Princess Aiko, took part in a disaster preparedness drill for employees at the Imperial Household Agency. During the drill, the Emperor, Empress and Princess Aiko used fire extinguishers to knock down panels representing flames.

    Interesting sleeves on Aiko blouse, adds a feminine touch. Even in these casual environment the ladies keep their posture and footing perfect. The king at least takes a natural stance. Lovely family
