The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by First Lady Brigitte Macron, is making a two-day State Visit to Spain. On 29 September 2026, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia welcomed President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron with military honours at the Royal Palace of Madrid. Queen Letizia wore a Pertegaz dress from the Autumn/Winter collection that she has worn on several previous occasions.

DeleteMme Macron’s outfit is superb and she looks tremendous, although I think she always looks better with her hair pulled back from her face. I’m not very enamoured of Queen Letizia’s dress. Perhaps a different neckline and slightly shorter skirt would improve it

ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a fan of embellishment but I do admire the design and creativity of this particular pattern, The dress itself has a beautiful and flattering style. I even like the lovely necktie bow. The pale blue provides an exquisite background for the black and red applique.

DeleteI love Brigitte Macron's pink coat and dress, but I assume it was warm in Madrid too. The dress only would have been warm enough. Queen Letizia's dress is a rewear. If it has been a bit shorter it would have been more elegant. Looking at Queen Letizia's shoulders, I can see that they are wider than usual which is because the dress is cut like this. The print with the red flowers is beautiful.

DeleteFor me, Queen Letizia’s dress is spoiled by all those dots; without them it would be very elegant. Pink is a wonderful color on Mme Macron.
ReplyDeleteThe first lady looks stunning, what a beautiful outfit, gorgeous ensemble. Love the dress and co ordinating coat, perfect fit, the color is sublime. The back view of her outfit equally divine. Love the color of her shoes, clever choice. Her pale pink bag, I'm in love! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIts great to see a rewear of this repeat dress. I do confess to liking this creativity and palate of colors, combined with the pale grey background so effective. The style and design of the dress I find very attractive on Queen Letizia, so elegant. My favorite re wear was when she wore her hair up style and her pearl and diamond earrings, subtle but very elegant. Her black shoes look great.
The King and President both look well groomed and attired, both elegant.
