On September 3, 2026, Queen Máxima paid a working visit to the Achterhoek region in the eastern Netherlands. The visit focused on biobased construction and making buildings more sustainable. The visit began in Hengelo, where industrial hemp is being grown on agricultural land. The plant’s fibres are used as a raw material for the development of insulation materials.
Afterwards, Queen Máxima toured a new housing development in Doetinchem, where rental and owner-occupied homes have been built using high-quality, sustainable materials. The working visit concluded at a primary school built with sustainability as a guiding principle. For the occasion, the Queen wore a cotton top and matching midi skirt by Ulla Johnson.

Lol..."Working visit"........MAXI, come to my home to see and learn what is work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo right! If she did come to your house for real work, let's hope she would not wear a yellow dress.
DeleteWorking visit means an official visit. She’s working as a member of the Royal House.
DeleteHa…so true! 😁
DeleteAnin 20:07…yeah…I think most people understand that!
DeleteI wonder:
Deletehow many women on this blog could perform all possible duties as Queen of Netherlands and wife of a Head of State plus engagements as advocate for financial healthy for UN so brilliantly?
* financial health
Delete* the Queen of the Netherlands....the wife of....as an advocate...
DeleteVery cute tractor driving dress. I actually think it suits her better than the model. The neck tie probably wasn’t required but the designer chose to add it anyway. I really like these types of two tone shoes - so useful. Would love a pair.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this top and skirt! This cotton print in the tulip skirt and ruffle sleeve is so pretty and feminine. Cute shoes too - five stars for Maxima!
ReplyDeleteShe’s a ray of sunshine today in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteAgree…Max is great!
DeleteLove this outfit! I’m generally not a fan of these types dresses with small prints and lots of details, but somehow it works on the Queen. The shoes keep the outfit from being too precious, which might be the case with espadrilles or similar beach sandals.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, werken in zo'n jurk. Kinderachtig met die pofmouwtjes.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, nice dress not too good for working, it was only for show anyway. Well at least she did not wear heels.

Lovely to see Queen Maxima again, after the summer holidays. She’s always such a cheerful presence. Nice summery outfit too.
ReplyDeleteWorking the tractor, and looking sensational! I love this dress on the Queen, especially worn while she is applying her skills on the tractor, loving it! Her shoes, perfect choice! Well done Ma'am well done.

DeleteHello my friend and thank you so much for your last kind reply.
Not many royal ladies could work a tractor!
And yes, she looks sensational, too.
A multitasking Queen for sure.
Chapeau!
Nice summer set but I don't like the way the skirt is made. The sleeves are childish. The contrast with the tractor is original. I like her shoes.
ReplyDeleteOn the first photo one can see there is someone sitting on her left side in the tractor. I didn't saw it at first but when clicking on the picture it became visible.
Not a "working" outfit, of course she only sat down on the tractor for pictures, so it really doesn't matter.
ReplyDeletePuff sleeves, too childish, big frilly neckline + bow,too much, skirt pulling across the stomach, unflattering, earrings that are just too much! Stringy hair, no excuse acceptable. The other ladies present look so much better with little effort.
ReplyDeleteWorking? Driving a tractor?? Please call it what it is - a photo opportunity!
