On 17 September 2026, Queen Letizia, accompanied by the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, Milagros Tolón, attended the opening of the 2026/2027 school year in Oviedo, held at Gesta Public School for Early Childhood and Primary Education. Queen Letizia visited the Future Classroom–STEAM space, where sixth-grade pupils at CEIP Gesta develop 3D elements and project them as holograms.
In the first-year early childhood classroom at CEIP Gesta in Oviedo, the Queen joined the youngest pupils as they took part in various games as part of a programme designed to stimulate language development and prevent difficulties with oral language. She also joined second-grade pupils for an English-language Social Science lesson centred on a market.
I like the simpllicity of this outfit. The black and white combination looks smart. The gold buttons on the hips add accessorization. I just find the sleeves of the blouse look too long for Letizia and would look better pushed up over the wrists.

ردحذفThis was a lovely visit. Love the combination of Navy and white. Love the feminine and elegant blouse. I do love the cuffs of her sleeves. The rewear of these pants, good choice and looks splendid. This ensemble was the perfect choice.

ردحذفIt is the school Letizia attended when being a child, in Oviedo, Asturias, her teachers where there to see her again, they are retired though.
ردحذفThe trousers can be worn 2 different ways. With the golden buttons they remember a sailor. If you take the buttons aways and wear a red piece of fabric in the waist it remembers a Spanish men's outfit to ride horses or to wear during one of their famous fiesta's. A flat hat with a wide brim could be the finishing touch.
