On 13 September 2026, Princess Benedikte attended a special service at Haderslev Cathedral to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in Haderslev. Princess Benedikte was welcomed by Torben Fyhn Holm Knudsen, chairman of the parish council, Anders Lasse Ravn, churchwarden, and Torben Hjul Andersen, Dean of Haderslev Cathedral.
Bishop Marianne Christiansen of the Diocese of Haderslev led the service, which featured the girls’ choir of Haderslev Cathedral. Haderslev was the first place in the Nordic countries where Martin Luther’s ideas were put into practice. This took place in 1526, ten years before the Reformation was officially introduced in Denmark.

Have to say that between P.Benedikte, Q.Mary, P.Marie and Q.Margarethe, the ladies of the Danish royal family are collectively at the top of the best dressed royal sartorial lists.

حذفTo me in her age category Princess Benedikte has good taste and knows what she must wear and what suits her. Queen Margrethe on the other hand rarely was dressed in clothes that suited her, not to speak of the weird clothes she made herself and looked more like the theater costumes she designed for the actors in plays for which she designed the decorum and the costumes. At a certain period of her life she also started to do her hair in these weird updo's, instead of looking for a good hair style which covers more the front part of her head. Her other sister former queen Anne-Marie is also someone who knows how she must dress herself. Queen Mary dresses in a style that is appreciated by the British because it ressembles often their style of clothes. Sometimes she is dressed in something I like very much, like the cream ensemble she wore yesterday at their yacht. But I rarely liked her in the Zimmerman dresses she seems to favour. Princess Marie, I agree she is always dressed with great class. Sometimes very simple but always "tiré à 4 épingles" like the French say.

This outfit looks stunning. The brown silk blouse is gorgeous (love this shade) The jacket is well made, fits well, the length is perfect. The skirt is well combined. Love, love! her shoes, her bag a lovely addition in choice. The hat! wow, this suits her so well. Love the choice of brown, uplifting the color of her blouse. She is tall and wears her ensembles beautifully.
