On Thursday, 10 September 2026, Princess Amalia of the Netherlands began her work placement with the Royal Netherlands Navy as part of the Defensity College programme in which she participates. In August, the Princess also completed an advanced General Military Training course in the field. Previously, she worked as a student employee with the Defence Staff and the Royal Netherlands Air Force.
The Defensity College programme aims to offer students meaningful part-time work alongside their studies and to strengthen the visibility of and connection between the armed forces and society. The programme consists of various work placements, activities, events and training courses. In this way, it contributes to the personal, professional and military development of military student employees.

DeleteShe looks good in uniform. I’d do like the colours of the Dutch navy’s camo, I would wear clothes in this fabric.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think I’ve ever seen naval camouflage fatigues before. They’re very nice looking. All best wishes to HRH the Princess of Orange in completing the Defensity Programme.
