On Thursday, 17 September 2026, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène of Monaco received Christophe Lemoine at the Princely Palace in Monaco on the occasion of the presentation of his letters of credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Principality of Monaco.
Ambassador Christophe Lemoine succeeds Jean d’Haussonville, who served as France’s ambassador to Monaco for three years. A career diplomat, Christophe Lemoine has notably served as Consul General of France in Los Angeles and as Director of Communications at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. For the occasion, Princess Charlène wore a viscose-silk suit by Bottega Veneta.

ردحذفThis pantsuit looks wonderful, love the style especially of the jacket, slightly longer length. The white shirt looks lovely, combined with the color of her pantsuit, perfect. As are the color of her shoes. She looks beautiful. This ensemble was perfect for this event.

ردحذفI like HSH blonder hair, it’s flattering to her coloring. The suit is a strange tailoring. It reminds me of the oversized jackets from 80’s. Not my favourite suit. But, hair and make-up are as always on point.

ردحذفI don’t care for the oversized suit jacket or the blouse buttoned all the way up. Charlene’s hairstyle looks quite lovely here.

Beige seems to be rarely flattering for her even if she still looks sparkly. When she wears an baggy suit with jacket hanging open and a shirt buttoned right up, to me she looks like an American body guard or FBI agent. Opening the blouse one or two buttons , or wearing a tshirt like blouse would make a difference. The fit of the suit works very well on the model, so I think it’s just not the right cut for Charlene.
