New Photos of Princess Sonam Yangden Released Ahead of Her Third Birthday

King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Queen Jetsun Pema, and Princess Sonam Yangden

The third child and only daughter of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan, Princess Sonam Yangden will celebrate her third birthday on September 9, 2026. Ahead of her birthday, the King and Queen shared new photographs of their daughter with the caption, “Wishing our beloved Princess a very happy and blessed third birthday.” The photos were taken at Lingkana Palace in Thimphu.

    Oh my goodness, she is already full of personality, I love it! Just take a look at her little strand of gorgeous pearls, wonderful and looks splendid with her traditional dress, pretty colors. She is so bright, engaging and lovely, a big girls 3 years of age! Happy Birthday little one!
