On 12 September 2026, Louis Ducruet and Marie had their daughter, Constance, baptised. Born on 4 December 2024, Constance is the couple’s second daughter. Victoire, who was born in April 2023, was the couple’s first daughter. Louis’s sister, Pauline Ducruet, and his friend, businessman Vincent Lelasseux, were also present.
Although Louis Ducruet is the son of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, he is one of Prince Albert’s nephews who has chosen to lead a private life away from the public eye, particularly since becoming a father to two daughters, Constance and Victoire, with his wife, Marie Ducruet. He chooses to attend only major official events in the Principality.

My older brother had coal-black hair (now it’s salt and pepper) as an adult, but until he was two, he was flaxen blond. It’s actually rare for a child to keep their childhood hair color into adulthood. For most, hair color darkens as people grow older. Another case in point is HSH P Stephanie, who was blonde as a little girl. HSH P Grace was blonde, and we don’t know the hair colors of all these little girls’ grandparents. Hair color can come from all sorts of places in the gene pool and can even skip generations.

حذفMarie's outfit is nice and summery but I generally don't like when the skirt of the dress starts from the hips and not from the waist. Pauline's dress has nice colour combination and interesting design, but too much unnecessary fabric (I wold get rid of those beige straps hanging on her shoulders).

حذفI truly appreciate the need for us all to protect ourselves by not posting personal details including facial photos onto the internet. I truly appreciate parents not posting their kids’ faces on the internet. But posting to show a scene with a big splodge or cartoonish pink flower across faces is just getting REALLY silly. Just don’t post and be safe.

I agree. I say this, realizing that the trend of celebrities publishing photos of children with their faces blocked from view is here to stay at least for a while, and that feelings are strongly divided about it. My feeling is that If celebrities think that showing their children’s faces puts the children at such severe risk, then the thing to do is keep their special events strictly private. That would be more respectful of the public than to treat the public like potential criminals. This point is lost on those who do not share the traditional view that royal and princely families share a reciprocal relationship of caring and respect with the public. Yes, a respectful distance is maintained, but the key word is “respectful”. Don’t insult those who look up to you.

I think Marie Ducruet's dress and shoes suit her really well; her outfit has just the right amount of bows, buttons and ruching to add interest without affecting the overall simplicity.

And suede loafers with no socks worn with a suit and tie, for church? if these two wore no tie and a different coloured jacket, the shoes might make sense -- but as it stands, it looks to me like they forget to take off their slippers before leaving the house :) It's all a bit too chaotic for my taste. Mariel’s is very becoming, lovely colour and the shoes add just the right touch for a nice summery look, perfect for church. Pauline just too much fabric, the sleeves are overly long, just an odd design. I am being picky but Louis should have cinched his tie up to fit between the collar properly. His friend should have a belt, the loops are there, woild be a finished look. I sense the guys don’t wear suits often and are more comfortable in casual wear. Pauline must be wearing one of her own designs.

Marie's dress is very attractive, fits well, pretty color. Only quibble I have is the line at the hip area, flowing from the waist, personally I would have preferred, but obviously she likes this style and she looks splendid. Love the low heeled white shoes. The overall look is refreshing and cool looking. I'm not sure if her bag is dark Navy or black? Pauline looks very individual, modern in her design I would think, good on her for wearing her own project, well done. She looks very interesting. Many components to this ensemble. Her sleeves are quite long, with regards to the actual dress. The color scheme is pretty. The thin draped pink piece flowing down the front, at first I thought it was attached to the blue piece she is wearing, but I dent feel so now. Her shoes match nearly the blue of her overblouse. She looks to be wearing some sort of stone on her necklace, wondering what that might be. She has a beautiful smile, looks happy to be Godparent, lovely.

Sleeves which are made too long seems to be fashion among the young people. Remember Princess Estelle's mini dress she wore during spring and summer this year with too long and too broad sleeves, covering her hands.

ردحذفI am surprised when I read the comments on the men's suits. If you ever have been on vacation in one of the countries along the meditteranean sea, you would know how men are dressed there. In hot countries people are dressed differently than in "cold" countries and this summer in particular it has been even more hotter than the years before.
ردحذفIt has not been stipulated in the introduction if Pauline Ducruet and Louis Ducruet's friend were godmother and godfather. So better not making speculations.
I was surprised that Princess Stéphanie was not present at the baptism of one of her grandchildren.
