In August 2026, Princess Isabella began her military service as a conscript with the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse. On 13 September 2026, during a family visit day at the barracks, King Frederik and Queen Mary, accompanied by Crown Prince Christian, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, visited Princess Isabella at her new barracks and spent time with her.
Princess Isabella is among the first to undertake 11 months of compulsory military service and is now well into her military service with the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse.

isabella has this look of 'dad, mom stop embarassing me!'
ReplyDeleteshe is a soldier in the making, well done.
I think she is happy for the support shown by her family.
DeleteEven she is a soldier still she is her beloved daughter......
Delete@10:13
DeleteI remember that feeling well.
Perhaps you do too.!
Cate.

Delete@ 15 06. Check your keyboard. The exclamation key seems to be sticking
The physical training must be grueling, notice she lost some weight.
ReplyDeleteMy dear, loosing weihgt is NOT dramatically!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteShe is and will be a very very beautiful young Lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sur la première photo, quel merveilleux profil avec sa queue de cheval délicatement tressée !
ReplyDeleteIs that your interpretation of the pictures….?
ReplyDeleteEst-ce à moi que vous vous adressez ?
DeleteThis is just one more affirmation of what a kind, loving and supportive family this group of 6 is to each other. As it presently stands, the children will no doubt be supporting each other in the years ahead as each take on new responsibilities given their royal roles, and it is beautiful to see now how it is being shaped. Full credit to Mary and Frederik.

DeleteTotally agree with Anonymous 9:13!
DeleteThank you Helen❤️
ReplyDeleteBeatiful pictures of proud and loving parents
Congratulations Isabella…she looks so much like her dad?
ReplyDeleteYes I see both her dad and mum in her (no coincidence of course!). She’s lovely.
Delete11 maanden, dat is langer dan prinses Amalia, die een aparte opleiding heeft voor bevoorrechte royals van 1 dag.
ReplyDeleteHRH P Amalia’s Defensity Training lasts two years, not one day.
DeleteEach monarch has a different role with their country’s military. So each will have different training, and I. Isabella’s case all 18 year old taking the training.
DeleteWith no make-up she ressembles her paternal grand-mother Queen Margrethe and of course also her daddy King Frederik (when he was young and had no beard).
ReplyDeleteVery nice looking in fatigues. What strikes me is how clear all these teenagers skin are free of acne. Vincent is such a handsome guy as are the whole family. They seems to be very supportive of each other which is so nice to see. Cute that she has her phone in her hand, so teenager.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Really like the Queen’s navy/gray argyle sweater and navy coat combo. It must have been a chilly day to need a sweater and coat!
ReplyDeleteI must say Isabella looks very comfortable in her role as a soldier. Keep up the good work. Nice to see the family visiting. Wonder if she liked all the hugging in front of everyone.?

The Princess reminds me so much of her father. I love the 2nd photo, the look on the Kings face as he see's his daughter the Princess.
ReplyDeleteI feel they are a tightknit and close family, it shows. The Princess by the look of it, is grateful for the family support, which is beautiful to see. She looks wonderful in fatigues. I love what Queen Mary is wearing, perfect for this occasion. Prince Vincent has grown so tall. A very good looking young man/prince.
