On September 5, 2026, King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark attended Denmark’s Flag Day 2026 at Kastellet. The day recognises and honours the contributions made by Denmark’s deployed personnel and commemorates those who have fallen. King Frederik and Queen Mary laid a wreath at the memorial.
In addition to the King and Queen, the Government and Parliament also took part in the ceremony, along with representatives of the Armed Forces, a military parade unit, the Home Guard, the police, the Danish Emergency Management Agency and veterans. For the occasion, the Queen wore a blue wrap dress by Soeren Le Schmidt.

ReplyDeleteOh the Queen looks beautiful. I love this dress, the belt really completes this outfit, falls well. Her skirt of her wrap dress has nice swish and movement, very feminine. I like her beige accessories. The diamond and sapphire brooch, what a beautiful brooch piece, perfect choice with this blue dress. Up close she is wearing single stud diamond earrings, of a good size, of substance, emanating great sparkle, perfection. She looks well groomed and in keeping with this occasion. The King looks fabulous in uniform.
ReplyDeleteNo one can squeeze a new look from a previously worn dress quite like QM. Her ability to change it up with different accessories is admirable. She just doesn’t just talk the talk when it comes to fashion sustainability she most definitely walks the walk.

ReplyDeleteNo 8:29, she does not “need” to dye her hair. Grey hair is completely normal and we all get to choose what to do about it. Critiques like this from one woman to another I find particularly mean. Let’s build each other up not criticise tiny details which are in any case, irrelevant and harmless.
DeleteI clicked on every picture and I couldn't find one grey hair. Everybody knows she dyes her hair, maybe she had no time to refresh her color, maybe she will do it for some other occasion. Due to the funeral of King Harald of Norway the state visit to Belgium is postponed to another date. I look forward to it.
