On Sunday, 13 September 2026, King Felipe VI of Spain, accompanied by Crown Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, attended the 2026 Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix in Madrid. The event took place from 11 to 13 September at the new MADRING circuit, which was designed to host Formula 1, Formula 2 and Formula 3 competitions.

Until now, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló had been the only Spanish venue to host the Formula 1 World Championship. With Madrid joining the 2026 calendar, Spain will become the only European country to host two Grand Prix races.

    Nice outfits on both the Princess and Infata. My only quibble is a half-tucked shirt (probably it's a fashion nowadays, but i still don't like it). Either tuck the shirt completely in or wear it loose.

      It is a funny trend! I wonder who started it? Trends look silly until widely accepted and then they’re suddenly gone! Meanwhile it’s hard for teenagers not to follow…

    The King is the fashion leader here. The ladies look nice but nothing special for fashion. Princess Leonor has a beautiful hairstyle.

    The Royal ladies look lovely in their casual yet smart attire. They are such natural beauties and tall. King Felipe, well groomed and looks great in his outfit, such a handsome man/king.

    I would have loved to see Leonor wear the full pink outfit. I think it would have suited her very well because it is such a pale pink, and the stylish pink trousers would have suited her frame as well as provided continuity of this beautifully pale colour..

    The half tucked shirt on Sofia is very much a current trend among young people. With that understanding, I actually quite like it. It's youthful fun.
