On Thursday, 17 September 2026, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, welcomed King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan to the Élysée Palace in Paris for a luncheon to discuss their support for Lebanon. King Abdullah II visited France at the start of a working tour that will include stops in the Czech Republic and the United States.

Lovely dress on Queen Rania but I'd prefer it without the belt.

It looks oversized and messy to me. The belt would help if not hanging like that - in my opinion. I’m not a fan of this outfit for Rania. … who nevertheless looks quite beautiful and increasingly young.

  3. I have never noticed the First Lady's perfect posture. The 2nd photo especially highlights this. Her plush three quarter sleeve outfit looks stunning. I find this outfit very appealing and attractive. The color is soft and a beautiful pastel shade. Love her shoes. Queen Rania's dress looks lovely, I like the white cuffs and collar. The skirt of her dress has nice swish. She looks very feminine and elegant. I like her white accessories.

I too had not noticed her very impressive posture, especially for her age. I think she may have recently been through some enhancement surgery. I think the King is the only one who appears natural, at his real height and age. That is not a criticism but an observation and I do understand how hard it must be to be regularly featured in the global media and scrutinised.

Madame Macron looks like she always looked. She didn't had any surgery. Her perfectly tailored dress by Louis Vuitton is better for her age than a shirt dress like Queen Rania's. Madame Macron is wearing a low pony tail lately and this makes her look younger than she is. Despite all the surgery and/or other treatments Queen Rania looks 10 years older in the grey dress. Her face looks young but it is frozen and has no natural expression any more.

  4. There is too much going on with Rania's dress. It is a bit of a mess. It's too long, too baggy, too much gathering on the front and back of the top, and the dangling white belt is very distracting. The sleeves are an odd shape but I like the white cuffs which add some contrast. Brigitte's dress would have been a winner if it wasn't for those atrocious front pockets which are not necessary and look very awkward.

Brigitte, as always, impeccably elegant. Length is excellent, this length becomes every dress and every woman. I like the pockets, they offer a bit of detail on the surface of an otherwise very plain and simple dress and do this service so much better than breast pockets. - Raina: very nice for her slim build, she can wear this volume. But the hanging belt is a bit "forced interest". I don't mind hanging a bit, but then shorter.

  6. Queen Rania looks like she's wearing an updated version of a nursing uniform. Therefore, a no from me. Madame Macron her usual self, always streamlined and elegant.

Excuse me for saying, but this dress looks to me like a garbage bag….

  8. Madame Macron sait choisir avec goût le style ainsi que la couleur de ses vêtements - Sa queue de cheval basse lui va à ravir ; ce serait agréable qu'elle continue sur sa lancée !

The gray and white color combination of Queen Rania’s dress is giving me a little bit of hotel employee/cleaning staff uniform vibes.

Both ladies look elegant in their individual styles, however I think QR's white belt should have been wider, non-braided, and snug enough for nothing leftover to hang down the front of her dress. S.M.
