On Sunday afternoon, September 6, 2026, King Willem-Alexander, Princess Beatrix and Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands visited Hitzacker in Germany to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Prince Claus. The Prince was born Claus von Amsberg in 1926 in Dötzingen, in the municipality of Hitzacker.
During the visit, King Willem-Alexander, Princess Beatrix and Prince Constantijn were briefed on the Orange Route, an approximately 2,300-kilometre walking and cycling route through German towns and cities with historical ties to the Dutch Royal Family. Afterwards, the King, Princess Beatrix and Prince Constantijn visited a monument dedicated to Prince Claus, followed by a walk along the Prinz-Claus-Promenade.

Just imagine it without the bows on the sleeves and it turns into a classy jacket
ReplyDeleteExactly my thoughts.
DeleteAlways elegant, so nice to see Pss Beatrix and her sons together at the centennial Birthday remembrance of her husband and their sons' father.

She looks lovely in this outfit, I am not keen on all the bows, but I still like it on her. Nice to see her with her attentive boys.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see Princess Beatrix again! Lyra
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely celebration. Princess Beatrix comes across as genuine and fun in photos and it’s great to see the sparkle in her eye.
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely, smart and stylish, always a joy to see her.
ReplyDeletePrincess Beatrix looks very elegant in her red white and blue ( Dutch flag)jacket. Without the bows it would be better but at the other hand it gives a kind of cheerfullness. The sons look great except for that I am still hoping already for years that WA will shave off his beard.
ReplyDeleteWhy would he ? All the other kings with a beard aren't ask to shave theirs either.
DeleteSome people just prefer a clean shaven man. Just because others have beards doesn’t make it appealing.
Delete6:48 it’s completely fine to hope and we shall see the results!!
DeleteWouah, les noeuds sont de sortie ; ils apportent du style à sa veste !

ReplyDeleteBeatrix is 88. I didn´t realise that Claus was 12 years older.
ReplyDeleteShe is still full of energy at her age.
DeleteP.Beatrix loves her bows, lol. She has them on so many of her outfits and they are like her signature embellishments. I say good for her! Let her wear whatever she wants that makes her happy. She looks very well.
