On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Prince Daniel attended “Prince Daniel’s Race Day” at Hagaparken in Stockholm. The event, known as Pep Day (Pep-dagen), is an initiative launched by Prince Daniel for children. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Oscar also visited the event venue with their dog, Rio. Pep Day in Hagaparken is organized by Generation Pep, the Royal Court, the City of Solna and AIK Athletics.
On the same day, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle also attended Allemansrätten Day 2026 at Hellasgården in Nacka. In Sweden, allemansrätten (literally “everyman’s right”) is a constitutionally protected freedom that gives people the right to access and enjoy nature. The family took part in a four-kilometer walk through the forest, starting at Hellasgården and ending in the Kärrtorp neighborhood.
I really love seeing the royals being out in normal clothes doing nature based things. I love the balance Victoria and Daniel choose with their kids for clothes; very rarely do the kids get dressed for public events in formal clothes, always neat but only rarely in eg suit for Oscar. I’m sure Charlene’s kids would love more of these outdoor relaxed public engagements, rather than quite formal occasions generally on concrete if outside, … but I guess with such a tiny principality (2 sq km!) there’s very very little nature compared with the vast nature of a big country like Sweden (450,000 sq km).

ردحذفWell, it is an outdoor sports event - how would you rather that they´d dressed? Everyone is casual, a family and fun day, they even brought their dog! I think they´re dressed just right, looking comfortable, appropriate and approachable, and yet I bet that half of what they wear in these photos is still brand name stuff.

Yes @ Vanessa the Fjällräven shirts, sweaters and jackets are internationally known for the best clothes which can be worn when going in the mountains f.ex. They are warm, and the jackets are humidity proof when it starts raining. They also wear hiking shoes necessary to support the ankles when marching in the woods and on uneven grounds. In the "a.s. Adventure shops" in my country one can buy the Fjällräven clothes. I find the shirts especially interesting. They have them in a lot of colors and fabrics. They are worn by men and women who wear them also simple during winter because they are comfortable to wear against the cold. I bought them for my father when he was old and got often cold during winter. He loved to wear them.

حذفI only know the price of Fjällräven shirts. They are not cheap at all. Especially the version for autumn and winter. But it is quality and will not be worn out in one season.

ردحذفLove the shirt on Victoria, the kids are dressed typical for age at an outdoor event. The family attends events wearing clothing that fits and appropriate without the ‘must be seen’ .pants are an interesting design, must be comfortable for moving in
