On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Prince Daniel attended “Prince Daniel’s Race Day” at Hagaparken in Stockholm. The event, known as Pep Day (Pep-dagen), is an initiative launched by Prince Daniel for children. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Oscar also visited the event venue with their dog, Rio. Pep Day in Hagaparken is organized by Generation Pep, the Royal Court, the City of Solna and AIK Athletics.
On the same day, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle also attended Allemansrätten Day 2026 at Hellasgården in Nacka. In Sweden, allemansrätten (literally “everyman’s right”) is a constitutionally protected freedom that gives people the right to access and enjoy nature. The family took part in a four-kilometer walk through the forest, starting at Hellasgården and ending in the Kärrtorp neighborhood.
I really love seeing the royals being out in normal clothes doing nature based things. I love the balance Victoria and Daniel choose with their kids for clothes; very rarely do the kids get dressed for public events in formal clothes, always neat but only rarely in eg suit for Oscar. I’m sure Charlene’s kids would love more of these outdoor relaxed public engagements, rather than quite formal occasions generally on concrete if outside, … but I guess with such a tiny principality (2 sq km!) there’s very very little nature compared with the vast nature of a big country like Sweden (450,000 sq km).
ردحذفDouble standards here! How often do we see Charlene's kids- at official engagements only- dressed accrordingly! She stopped posting private photos of her kids, closed her instagram, citing 'for their privacy'
حذفBefore she closed her account, she used to post pictures of birthdays, easter egg painting, beach days... at their private estate in France and the kids were dressed in casual wear.

حذفSorry to oppose, 19:21, Oscar gets suited up with tie and all accordingly for occasions with formal clothing, a bit of research will show it. Why always compare ... things that we don't really know enough about.

ردحذفWell, it is an outdoor sports event - how would you rather that they´d dressed? Everyone is casual, a family and fun day, they even brought their dog! I think they´re dressed just right, looking comfortable, appropriate and approachable, and yet I bet that half of what they wear in these photos is still brand name stuff.

Oh, I just love the casual wear/gear, the children and Victoria look wonderful. How wonderful, for them to share this with Mum and Dad ! being out with nature.
