On Monday evening, September 21, 2026, Dior inaugurated its House of Dior on Via Montenapoleone in Milan, Italy, hosting an exclusive celebration to mark the start of Milan Fashion Week 2027. Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi attended the opening of the new Dior flagship boutique. For the occasion, Beatrice Borromeo wore a grey Dior dress with short sleeves, a knee-length hemline, and a black bow detail at the neckline.

    She’s very lovely. The dress is almost a classic. The hem is a good elegant length, the sleeves I think would look better and suit more women closer to the elbow. I studied the bow for a while but couldn’t persuade myself it works. May have worked on the waist.

      I had exactly the same thoughts as you, but I decided that the dress would have been a bit on the dull side without the bow... and I would leave it where it is, as it might be very impractical to have a bow by the waist IMHO. She is stunning.

    She is a gorgeous woman and looks nice in this dress. I personally don’t love the cut or neck bow, but she still wears it well.

    The texture and somber gray collour of the fabric is rather dull.. But Beatrice made this dress look wonderful because of the black shoes and necktie and perfect fit. She also has a great figure which helps make any garment look good.

    Wow, that's perfection for me. An elegant, timeless dress, with just a few details to give it a stylish twist. Perfect fit to pronounce her silhouette, without showing it of. Plain shoes and bag, to let her hair and smile be the accessoires that catches the eye.
    Less is more, wonderful!!

    Overall I would say that this is a lovely classic look for Beatrice, and the black accents are perfect. But judging from a full-length front view of Beatrice in this dress in Vanity Fair (which can't be linked), the quirky bow and the cute short sleeves would combine better with a shorter dress length. The dress length shown is just right for Beatrice; but for her proportions, longer sleeves would create more balance and suit her better, as would locating the bow lower in the composition. Lyra

    The dress is too dark to wear already, but she went to her boss' fashion show so she must wear a dress of the coming autumn and winter collection.

      @ Yes, I expected that answer, but when I am looking around me and at the other royal ladies whose photo's are published here, I see that the majority is still wearing lovely colors as long as the sun shines almost every day now. The coming autumn and winter can be long and gray.

    This is a slightly Vieille France look, like the pussy blouse resurrected by Yves Saint Laurent, wonderful for those who look good in grey. I would have preferred slightly toned tights for a more streamlined approach. The sleeves are an interesting detail. I am touched by the very kind expression on Beatrice‘s face.
