The children, aged between 10 and 18, have all been injured during the war. Together with their relatives, they are now spending a couple of weeks in Sweden for rest and recuperation. The initiative is organised by Beredskapslyftet, Astrid Lindgren Children’s Hospital at Karolinska University Hospital, and Min Stora Dag.

Skirt seems a little Boho and works well with the white crisp shirt. On Princess Madeleine I do not mind the uneven hem. I love the look she put together. The Queen looks her usual stunning self , gracious and elegant. And a very nice Sandro jacket for the CP.

Madeleine: Aje is a brand I like and wear myself; but I think this striped skirt needs a top in the identical fabric, in order to work. Any top which doesn't match makes the whole effect look too piecemeal, too thrown together, in my view. Lyra

What a lovely thing to do. Other countries royals should look to them as a great example and offer a r and r to these children who got caught up in something they did not choose.

Other countries royals maybe did other things to help Ukranian people, but not every initiative is described in the press or in this blog.

Hello Ava, my friend, and thank you for your reply re: Princess Alexia.
I do agree with your comment above.
I noticed that " frivolous" Princess Madeleine knows how to behave and entertain her special guests.
This is what kind- hearted people usually do when it comes to dealing with serious situations.
This must have been a marvellous meeting both for the guests and the hosting members of the Swedish Royal Family.

    2. Le blanc de la chemise de Madeleine se marie à merveille avec le style original de sa jupe !

Princess Madeleine is wearing fashion details like an uneven hem and during the photoshoot for Vogue magazine a dress pimped with feathers. When other queens and princesses wore these type of fantasies more than five years ago on their dresses and skirts, they received bad comments on this blog.

Would have liked to see Princess Sophia at this meeting.

Madeline should stick to these events, skip the modeling and being a business woman, take on her mother’s charities, she has the means to do so and more worth while. She is dressed nicely.

She look lovely though I am not a fan of uneven hems. I realize they like to wear trendy clothes, but for me classic structure has a more refined look.

Hope the children from the Ukraine had a lovely time at the Palace. Meeting the Q CP and Pss must have made their day, I hope. They really deserve it.

So good to see that Victoria and Madeleine also attended and welcomed the children. What a great event and hopefully the children found some comfort.

      @ Marika
      I do agree with you.
Finding some comfort and peace is what matters most to them after all the tragedies and distress they have gone through imo.
