Q.Silvia seems to be the only person wearing this outfit. It is not Swedish national dress, which is blue and yellow, the nearest regional costume it resembles is Gastrikland. Just looks odd, imo.

Queen Silvia is one of many ladies who is wearing the Ekerö bygdedräkt / Ekerö regional dress on this event. Ekerö is the area where Drottningsholms castle, the home of the Swedish Queen and King, is located, nearby Stockholm. They travel almost every day the one hour ride driven (most of the times) driven by King Carl XVI Gustaf himself in to their offices in the Stockholm Castle, in Old Town of Stockholm, where they also host their State Guest. This time there are only two pictures of this particular event shared by media. But in earlier events there have been more pictures shared.

A traditional dress does not always have be in the national colours of a country.
You can see that in many countries all over Europe.
I personally like Queen Silvias Dress and hope the wearing of such dresses continues to be cultivated in the future !
