On August 24, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark attended a progress meeting on “The 10 Million Safer Births Initiative” at Eigtveds Pakhus, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen. The partners presented results from the first three countries involved in the initiative: Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Nigeria. For nearly two decades, the Queen has followed global developments in maternal mortality.
Several years ago, an initiative was launched in collaboration with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), the Maternity Foundation, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of improving the quality of care provided by midwives and healthcare workers and reducing maternal mortality. The Queen has served as the initiative's patron since its inception.
Queen Mary launched “The 10 Million Safer Births Initiative” in Nigeria last year. The initiative has the ambitious goal of providing up to 10 million women across sub-Saharan Africa with access to safer childbirth by the end of 2030. It is supported by the Danish government and the Gates Foundation.
A nice business outfit, perfect length of skirt, belt adds the finishing touch. I am not a fan of ankle straps on shoes and sandals, these work but prefer a lower strap. Her hair is at a good length for her.
ردحذفQ Mary can wear a skirt and blouse like no other. It helps to have her slim waistline. She knows how to put pieces together so well. That said, I'm not a fan of the big puffy sleeves.

One of the few examples of puffy sleeves looking attractive and modern! Love the whole outfit, especially the brown accessories which I think really make the outfit interesting. The Queen knows proportion and how to dress classically modern.
ردحذفThis outfit is classic, chic and stylish. The combination of white and navy always looks great while the puffy sleeves and patterned belt create a more contemporary look. Mary always looks wonderful with glasses.
ردحذفThis is a lovely, fresh simple but elegant outfit. Love the skirt nice flair and gorgeous white blouse, very pretty. The sleeves I find very attractive adding interest to this white blouse. As equally her lovely belt, which is perfect for this Demin skirt. Love her shoes, nice!
