On August 31, 2026, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden received French President Emmanuel Macron at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The meeting took place in Princess Sibylla’s Apartment. President Macron is in Stockholm for bilateral talks focusing on defense cooperation between Sweden and France.

As one can clearly see, the Swedish court is in mourning and the king is even in black or is it very dark blue?

Wow! Macron has aged! He looks not good. Love Victoria’s dress and shoes.
ReplyDeleteI think he looks fine. Unkind comment
DeleteI can't believe he is still in power after so many years. Maybe that explains the aging.
DeleteMacron is letting his gray hair grow in.
ReplyDeleteVictoria looks lovely in the deep blue dress…very tasteful and respectful mourning attire.
ReplyDeleteVictoria looks beautiful. Elegant and regal!
ReplyDeleteThe President imo looks great, his eye problem has obviously been rectified, great! His attire fits well. CP Victoria, looks beautiful in this dark Navy dress, very feminine and elegant.
ReplyDelete"La tenue du président ́ui va à merveille" 😁😁🌹😂😃😃
DeleteAt last, at last, a dress style for Victoria which I find suits her perfectly! The half-collared v-neck, the wide elbow-length sleeves, the dainty belt, the fluted hem... all in harmony. Victoria could wear this dress in half-a-dozen different colours, and I'd still enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteBTW Victoria's beaming smile is such a winner. I notice from recent pics that Princess Estelle has inherited the same captivating expression. Lyra
I fully agree, the V-neck suits Victoria much better than a round neck. Her smile is captivating because it is real, and not a mask. It shows in her eyes as well.
DeleteI don't know what it is, but President Macron's facial expression has changed. Is it due to his eye problems or is he just getting old. Did he had a chirurgical intervention on his eye(s) ? He is also more grey than before. I did'nt know he dyed his hair.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress Victoria is wearing. For Sweden King Harolds demise is a loss of family. Something looks different with Emmanuel Macron.
