Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway turned 53 today. To mark her birthday, the Royal Palace released two photos. In one of the photos, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit are pictured, while the second photo shows Crown Princess Mette-Marit alongside her husband, Crown Prince Haakon, and their children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus.
I was just going to say she is looking great, but the 2nd photo has been taken for another occasion before her churgical operation. She is looking good on the first photo too. Prince Haakon is looking happy with his wife and children nearby.

Pretty sure both photos are from some time back. Fair enough that she’s not yet ready for new photos after such serious illness and surgery plus new drug regime.
