What a lovely print dress, nice length and falls very nicely with a bit of swish. I know gloves in hot weather, well I would do the same having to shake sweaty hands that have been who knows where. I give her credit for wearing appropriate clothes and is so dignified in memorial situations. And of course her lipstick to brighten her face, love it.

About the gloves, right, I also don't really like to shake hands. But if those sweaty hands touch your gloves, then afterwards you remove those gloves with your naked hands and so you get what you wanted to avoid anyway :-) So yes, part of it is a kind of hygiene, but it is also just tradition and it belongs to a certain style to wear them. This is how the Princess Royal grew up - and she sticks to what she grew up with. Outside and also inside ... what she does speaks for her inside. I have total respect for her. - And besides, apart from the gloves, she was very pretty in both dresses.

Ma perché i guanti per un incontro in una scuola?

  3. Anne looks great in both dresses. The first day dress breaks the long hemline rule for Windsor women by being the perfect, flattering length of just below the knee. The style is very elegant and feminine and the black and white print is lovely. The second dress is also very attractive with the brooch on the bodice and it enhances her fabulous figure. I also like the shawl which indicates it may be a bit cool in Thailand.

Great dress on Anne…the colors/pattern, length, and fabric all work together to make this an attractive and flattering look. The black is also nice and perfect for the occasion.

The Princess Royal looks wonderful in her day dress! It has a beautiful cut and drape. Very flattering and feminine. Her other outfit which has a very serious look to it. I would love to see more of the brooch. I believe she is dressed in a manner to honor the recent death of the Thai queen--the second to the last photo appears to be in front of a shrine to the late queen. As always--Princess Anne hits all the right notes.
