On July 23, 2026, Princess Benedikte of Denmark visited the 2026 National Scout Camp, held at Hedeland Nature Park in Hedehusene. Upon her arrival at the camp, Princess Benedikte was welcomed by camp chiefs Marie Torp Christensen and Cecilie Viborg Nielsen, as well as Birgitte Eriksen, Vice-Chair of the Presidium.
The National Scout Camp aims to create scouting experiences for children and young people and strengthen cooperation among scouting organizations at the local, regional, and national levels. It is the largest scout camp in the Nordic region and is held every four years. This year's camp is taking place from July 18 to 26, with more than 30,000 scouts from the Danish and international scouting movements participating.
Princess Benedikte is patron of The Danish Scout Association and De grønne pigespejdere. In addition, the Princess serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of the Danish Scouting Association and the Danish Girl Guides' Joint Council.

C'est un vrai plaisir de revoir la princesse Benedikte ; pour cette visite, elle porte une tenue dans une couleur vert anis accessoirisée d'un foulard correspondant ! Achard62
