On June 30, 2026, Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited MUDAM, accompanied by Ministers Gilles Roth and Eric Thill, to celebrate the museum’s 20th anniversary during a ceremony combining artistic and musical performances. The Grand Duchess is Honorary President of MUDAM.
The Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art (MUDAM) was inaugurated on July 1, 2006, in the presence of Grand Duke Jean, Grand Duke Henri, and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. MUDAM will host activities and events to mark this anniversary from July 1 to July 5, 2026.
For the occasion, the Grand Duchess wore a red silk embroidered maxi dress by Folkloore.

حذفI like this dress. It's much prettier then the red from the other day that looked very casual. The embroidery on this is really lovely and it looks great highlighting GD Stephanies face and hair. I wish we could see more of the skirt but it looks very nice from what we can see.

ردحذفAnother gorgeous dress. I think that this loose, free flowing, dress style in a cool fabric always looks good on Stephanie for casual or semi-casual events. The bright colours make her look extra radiant.

Pretty much everybody else is in a trouser-suit, but the Grandduchess appears in a flowy, Kaftan-style silk maxi-dress, I rather would have seen her wear it in a totally different setting (on holiday perhaps, or visiting a country like Jordan privately, etc.). To me it seems that she thinks she needs all that excess fabric for a reason I am unable to fathom. Yes, the colour is good for her, as was the case with the dress for the garden party a few days ago. The design, the cut, the length, the tailoring, however - I am not convinced.
ردحذفI totally agree with you. This is a perfect dress in a completely different setting but not here. I have the feeling that this new grand duchess has no sartorial direction despite all her other positive qualities, especially her lack of vanity, but she obviously needs better guidance, what to wear, where and when

I was almost reconciled with this red dress, because it was a bit better than the really formless red "boho" dress the other day. But only until I saw the whole-body photo with how unbecoming those two white pattern patches look on her upper body. On the model, they are more on the side, but in Stephanie's size, they come to an unlucky position.
ردحذفI absolutely agree about the white patches. Bad pattern placement over these key areas -- the bust, stomach, pelvis or rear -- can ruin an otherwise lovely dress; because once you see it, you can't unsee it. Lyra
حذفStephanie looks absolutely lovely here! This flowing dress is perfect for a summer outdoor event (especially if Luxemburg is suffering from the heat like other parts of Europe). She looks cool, comfortable, and very stylish. Love her in red too..

The actual dress is lovely. Two quibbles, the length of the dress and the tiered effect of the skirt. Her earrings look interesting, not sure what they are.

A nice dress, but should be a bit shorter to look not so bulky. Look at the model for the effect of just a few centimeters.
ردحذفThis is a perfect casual look for GDS. An open neck. Free flowing. No unusual designs(usually Natan). The color is flattering. Hair lovely. This is definitely a good look.
