On June 4, 2026, Catherine, Princess of Wales, visited The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in south Manchester. The Christie, which was established in 1890 and became part of the NHS in 1948, is the largest cancer centre in Europe. It treats more than 60,000 patients each year and also provides radiotherapy services for the wider NHS.
During her visit, the Princess met patients receiving cancer treatment at the Oak Road Treatment Centre. She also visited the centre’s art therapy room, where she met patients undergoing treatment as well as those in recovery.

I like the color and tailoring of Catherine’s dress, but black shoes would look better with it to match the buttons at her waist. Her bee earrings are interesting and must be symbolic. Regarding her oft-discussed hair, I do think long hair generally looks very good on Catherine. I am not in any way anti-long hair for her or any woman of any age if that’s what they like. That being said, I think long hair on her is more flattering when she has it a few inches shorter than the current length, which is getting perilously close to Rapunzel territory.

I really liked this the first wear though it was a little loose then but more so now. I liked her hair up not to give the long hair haters anything. Nice to see her supporting other cancer survivors.
ردحذفI love that she rewears the bumble bee earrings again. The symbol of Manchester uk, and the arena tragedy. They are often used as a symbol for cancer.the bee is heavy so it shouldn't fly, but it does. Same with cancer, you think you can't do it but you can.Hope and believe in yourself
ردحذفThe dress is okay but far too loose. I really liked some of her Eponine outfits. It went into administration I think. I didn't like that particular updo but it looked polished. Good to see her supporting cancer related causes.

I wasn’t taken with this coat dress when she wore first time around. There’s no shape to it. Since PoW has lost weight(due to her treatment)the dress is just hanging on her. The color is nice. I’d have preferred her hair to be up and out of her face, especially on a hospital visit.

ردحذفI found this to be one of the most beautiful and important visits of late, purely for support up lifting of morale of sufferers/patients, their caregivers and staff, that the Princess's visit gave. The ringing of the bell and Catherine's interaction with this young mother and sufferer, was terribly moving and highlighted what the patients go through. I'm so glad this young patient was able to ring the bell for the very reason of that bell. Her husband equally, for me was incredibly moving. I'll be honest my tears flowed watching this.
ردحذفMatt Wilkinson had great footage of this interaction and moment saw this on YouTube. Catherine dug deep and handled this with dignity, grace and empathy. Her outfit on this occasion to me is not important, but she looked beautiful in any case. Loved the dress. Having lost both parents to this disease in a short space of time, its a sensitive topic for me.
