Kensington Palace has released previously unseen footage of the Princess of Wales and Prince George during a recent visit to RAF Coningsby to mark Armed Forces Day. The visit took place around two weeks ago, but the footage was held back until today to coincide with Armed Forces Day. The Princess of Wales has served as Royal Honorary Air Commodore of RAF Coningsby since August 2023.
Alongside the video, shared on the official social media channels of the Prince and Princess of Wales, appeared the following message:
“Marking Armed Forces Day by reflecting on time spent with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby. Learning about the extraordinary history of these aircraft and meeting the pilots and engineers who keep their legacy alive. A powerful reminder of the courage, skill, and dedication of those who serve, past and present. Thank you to all those who have served and continue to serve.”

DeleteYes, that was my first thought as well. Great visit together for the mother and her son. I like the Prncss look, incl the skinny trousers, she wears them so well.
DeleteWhat a nice put together outfit. My only quibble, and I know this is her preference, is the skinny pants. It gives me the same negative as a clingy material on a heavier person. I understand being tall and slim is nice, but the overall silhoutte is not necessarily the best it could be.
ReplyDeleteI really disliked her skinny jeans, but this one is not really one of those, they were skintight. Considering the locality and climbing into a small aeroplane, I would prefer these trousers to wide legged ones. She looks good.

DeleteThat visit happened about two weeks ago, before the big heatwave hit the UK, and now still plagues huge parts of central Europe. So, yes it might have been a not so warm day then when they visited.
Deleteformal wear does not know weather, without their blazers it would be too informal.

I love the fact, the pants are not skin tight, considering the visit and what was entailed these pants are perfect, not out of place, nor in the way, climbing up and down aircraft. I prefer this style of pants, I feel they suit the Princess's shape better and more enchasing. The jacket, lovely to see the rewear, I love this jacket. Obviously the jacket suited the weather two weeks ago. I like the style and length of this jacket. The white top underneath looks good. Love the pearl and gold drop earrings. I like the fact she wore flat shoes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of mother and son. Prince George looks well groomed and his attire is perfect for this visit. He is getting tall ! Yes! His parents are tall - genetics. I feel it is lovely for a man to be of height substance wise, meaning - tall!
He is a handsome young man. Wonderful that he was able to visit with the Princess.
