Oh dear, nice colour, in theory this should be a good choice with the neckline and fabric. Perhaps if the frill was left off the bottom and the sleeves 3/4 length it would be more in proportion. The high waist okay but again perhaps it is too loose therefore it falls on the body rather than away from it. Such a lovely lady.

This dress does nothing for anybody.

I really love her ponytail, in combination with the earrings. The dress ventures into negligée terrain and looks relaxed but not good (neither on the model). Maybe for a romantic dinner for two at the fireplace?

  3. That dress is for anoher body shape.

And even on the model this isn’t a nice dress. There’s too much going on.

Let's not put everything down on "body shape" path (i.e. the polite way to mention that someone has too much weight), this is not the problem here. Look at the 2nd photo, the neck and shoulder area, do you see how asymmetric it is? Then the waistline, what's the name, askew? everywhere but on the waist? this dress is simply devoid of shape, thus it cannot fit *any* body shape.

I like the style of dress, it’s a perfect Summer dress. I think it suits GDS shape. I would have liked a little more color in her make up, to match the dress. In the absence of color, leaves her looking a little pale against the bold red.
    Lowri.

Yeah, she needs some lipstick. It looks like hers might have worn off. The dress color is wonderful for her but the dress is not tailored to her figure. It doesn’t hang on her right.

Oh Stephanie. Please can I come be your tailor? A little nip and tuck would make this dress sing, but its just hanging off you. Its a beautiful dress, and I love the earrings but fit is essential.

You really should go help her out. I am rooting for you! 😉. Let me know if you need help!

    2. 19:41 might well be right ! I also agree on removing the frill on the sleeves.

  6. Without the ridiculous tying (?) bows at the sleeves the dress could have been a little more successful. Again, she drapes herself in way too much fabric. The strong colour is, as usual, looking good on her. A matching lipstick would have been great as well.

  7. Une robe rouge coquelicot qui lui va à ravir mais je lui enlèverai bien le volant de la jupe ainsi que celui des poignets !

The dress does not physically fit or fit the occasion. The sleeves and length are too long and the neckline is so big that she’s wearing a cami to add coverage. The red lace feels like lingerie or evening.

Même sur le mannequin, elle n'est pas terrible cette robe
J'apprécie beaucoup Stéphanie mais cela me désole qu'elle ne soit pas prise en mains pour lui donner in pei d'allure

I think she had dresses before from that brand "Farm Rio" and they didn't fit her either. Compared with the model the dress is too long. Her mother in law wore the same dress type at the garden party's and it didn't suit her either. I think she should wear a different dress style and not focus on this boho style. And her hair looks better loose or in an updo, not a low pony tail.

  11. I didn’t think there was a red dress I didn’t like but I’m struggling with this one. No certain what is wrong with it but it’s just not working well for Stephanie. As DSC says there’s a lot of material in the dress. Perhaps a mid calf length and no frill would have worked better.

  12. Up close the GD makeup looks really very good. She has a wonderful manicure, beautiful red polish, her nails are a great length, practical.
Dress wise, I don't like it on the model nor on the GD. Its a very dense dress, frill wise, embroidered wise etc... too much for it to look attractive and appealing imo. The length is too long, and I like longer style dresses. The models length is a bit shorter. Regardless of that, the GD obviously liked the style and she looks happy, enough said!
I love her hair up style or long and cascading, not with a pony tail. Her earrings look interesting, but they don't appeal to me.
The side view of the blonde lady, in white spot and Navy ? jumpsuit? or possibly halter neck dress, not sure but she looks quite lovely from what I can see. Last group photo, she is on the right. I enlarged the photo, still cannot tell!

What are they doing to this beautiful woman. I would sack the lot of you. This dress could have been very elegant, but once again the finishing touches were not carried out. Shame on the lot of you.

The dress hangs on her. I think it is nice to wear in hot weather with the open structure of the tissue. Do away with the last fril and it could (maybe) become an informal summer dress: this is for an opera singers last act!
