Sweden's National Day and Swedish Flag Day were celebrated on June 6. In the evening, members of the Royal Family arrived at the Solliden Stage at Skansen to attend the official National Day celebrations. King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine of Sweden, and Christopher O'Neill took part in the festivities.
Prince Carl Philip also celebrated Sweden’s National Day by sharing a photograph of himself with his daughter, Princess Ines. The Prince captioned the photo, “Happy National Day!”, accompanied by a flower emoji. Princess Ines wore a traditional dress featuring the colours of the Swedish flag. She also wore a matching blue-and-yellow headband.

Happy National day. So nice to see the whole family together and little Ines as well. Today is a busy day. National day Sweden, wedding in the UK and Liechtenstein. His Holiness visits to Spain. But nothing about the memory of D Day which also is on June 6th. To honor the ones who did not come home and also let it be a warning to the living. Sorry to put the happy with the sadness.

Welcome to fancy dress. A bit over the top. I am proud of my countries own traditions etc but i would draw the line at this one
ردحذفI have such respect for countries holding on to good traditions which bring people together, and I love the Swedish National dress. I feel a bit sad that you would call this fancy dress in a derogatory way and not instead be curious as to what it means to the Swedes.
حذفWonderful photos of the royals and Swedish people!
ردحذفThey all look wonderful. But baby Ines is too cute! And the smile on the face of Carl Philip! 🤩
ردحذفYes the last photo with Ines is the best Royal photo I’ve seen this year!
