Queen Máxima Receives Delegation from the Indonesian Employers Association

On June 12, 2026, Queen Máxima received representatives of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague to discuss what employers can do to improve the financial health of their employees. This topic was also addressed during Queen Máxima’s United Nations visit to the Republic of Indonesia in 2025, during a roundtable discussion held in Jakarta in which APINDO participated.

The delegation received by Queen Máxima included Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, Chair of APINDO and CEO of the Sintesa Group, and Mari Elka Pangestu, Special Envoy to the President of Indonesia for International Trade and Multilateral Cooperation, who also serves as Chair of Indonesia’s National Economic Council.
