On the afternoon of June 4, 2026, Queen Máxima opened the newly renovated Valkhof Museum in Nijmegen. Nijmegen is located along the former northern frontier of the Roman Empire. The new permanent exhibition, People on the Border (Mens op de grens), tells the stories of people living in and around Nijmegen, from prehistory to the present day.

Max has really lost his way a bit lately; no flattering outfits, sloppy, and the hairdresser has left as well.
