On June 4, 2026, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the Department of Anatomical Pathology at Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom ("Hospital by the River") in Antwerp. During the visit, the Queen learned about the practical support that artificial intelligence provides in the analysis of cells collected from cancer patients.
Through visits to several workstations and discussions with medical staff, the Queen received information about the various steps involved in reaching a diagnosis. This working visit forms part of the preparations for the Third Symposium of Her Majesty the Queen, which is being organized by the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium and will take place on October 1, 2026.
Natan Adria asymmetric jumper and Milan trousers

As per usual, the Natan designer was so exhausted after finishing the drawing for the trousers that the top part is just an overdimensional piece of fabric to cover everything over the waistline. After that, the designer had to apply for a recreational holiday.

DeleteA design in contradiction with traditional rules is unavoidably bad for some people ...

Delete..... but not for Queen Mathilde.
fortunately, she seems to be open minded.
DeleteThe style of the top is contemporary and good for warm weather allowing air to circulate. Since it's loose fitting it's also very comfortable and pairs well with the straight leg trousers. The tangerine colour looks great on Mathilde.
ReplyDeleteI really like this outfit…specifically the trousers fit/length is perfect and the asymmetrical top is modern and interesting. The Queen looks great in orange and I like the combo of big gold earrings and neutral shoes/bag to let the other pieces shine.
ReplyDeleteL’asymétrie de ce pull porté avec ce pantalon judicieusement ceinturé donne une magnifique allure à la Reine !
ReplyDeleteLooking the photos ... one question....how did she manage to stuff that big sleeve into the lab coat ?
ReplyDeleteThe tangerine colour looks smashing, suits her beautifully. The top is modern and progressive. Not being fitted or clingy, perfect for the warmer weather. Her pants, look good, fitting well. Love the color of her bag (this is gorgeous) and her shoe color. Love, love! her gold earrings, they are a larger scale and of substance, very effective. Lovely presentation by the Queen.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like the styling on a model better. I think the top is nice if semi-tucked. It would have looked better on the Queen if the top was a little bit longer and covered the crotch area.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why my additional information on Queen Mathilde's outfit wasn't puboished here. I'll repeat it quickly and less elaborated than this morning.
ReplyDeleteThe orange set of a top and trousers is a rewear from 2020.
The earrings are the golden Nunu BCN.
The handbag : although Queen Mathilde is the owner of this bag since 2024, she didn't use it until now. Designer of the bag is Boshra Bagherpour, the name of the bag is "Mahtab" and the color is "Caramel Latte". The name of the company is Boshra Belgium.
I like Queen Mathilde in this still fashionable outfit.
