On June 3, 2026, Queen Jetsun Pema attended the inauguration of a traditional Tit Tar session in Thimphu, held from June 3 to 5. The therapy is being offered by a team of 21 Tit Tar therapists from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Singapore, led by Master Chris Leong and Master Erik Leong, in honour of Her Majesty’s Birth Anniversary.
Traditional Tit Tar is a therapeutic practice that focuses on the realignment of joints and bones while relieving tension in muscles and tendons. This marks the team’s second visit to Bhutan. They were previously in the country during the Global Peace Prayers in November 2025. The programme is organised by SELWA with support from Desuung.

Keeping strictly to the topic of fashion. Love the colors of this silk traditional dress. The colored sleeves are a wonderful contrast as opposed to the color of her top. The skirt part of the traditional dress work in well, but so pretty! Her shoe color looks to be a slightly lighter color of the cuff colour, perfect choice.
