  1. Even in this casual outfit Mary looks fantastic.
With the cap on (and that decollete), Isabella could be the next "Bond-Girl" (and I mean this absolutely positive of course!)

I think she looks like the young Catherine in the close-up (Princess of Wales now).
Congratulations Isabella! Everyone has a summer glow and looks very happy, nice to see.

Yes she’s stunning and looking very mature and ladylike, as if her childhood is far behind her.

Anon 2020, I don’t see any resemblance to Catherine other than hair colour perhaps. Silly to compare

Anonymus 20:20 No more comparisons with Kate! Fortunately, people don't look like her and Isabella is one of them. Kate is not a person I would like to compare myself with. (Irene)

Yes 20:20 I see the resemblance, quite apparent in some photos! How interesting. @23:42, it’s not silly to say someone looks like another - it’s an observation. In no way harmful or wrong!

Irene, what a rude comment. I am sure you would not even come close to comparing yourself with Catherine, so it wise that you do not.

  2. I like both items Mary is wearing but not together. The sleeves of the top are flared and the A-line skirt is also flared so there is an imbalance. The top would look better on a straight skirt and the denim skirt would look better with a fitted top. Balance is more aesthetically appealing to the eye.

With the same "balance" argument, one could also say that the balance is perfect because because both are wide - and we don't call a fitted top with fitted skirt unbalanced? - Anyway, for me the blouse is simply somewhat awkwardly oversized on the sides, I would not really like it with any kind of skirt.

Quand il fait 41° dans le Sud-Ouest de la France, j'envie Mary dans sa blouse très rafraîchissante !

  7. The skirt Queen Mary is wearing is lovely, nice swish and movement, the white blouse and embroidery is very attractive. They are a very good looking family. Wonderful for Princess Isabella. Love her large gold hooped earrings.

I like Queen Mary's blouse. I think it's style must suit Queen Letizia too.
On picture N° 4 Princess Isabella is the spitting image of a young Princess Märtha sister of Crown Prince Haakon of Norway. They have the same eyes. She is a beautiful princess we don't see as much as the twins.

I forgot to ask the following question : "Is the Danish royal family not related to the Norwegian royal family ?" Anonymous 21:20.

Queen Margarethe of Denmark and King Harold of Norway are second cousins.

Which aunt Mârtha ? As far as I know King Frederik, Queen Mary, Queen Margrethe do not have a sister called Märtha.
That's why I wondered if the Danish and Norwegian family are related.
King Harald of Norway has a daughter called Märtha-(Louise?). There is strong ressemblance between this princess and Princess Isabella.

I am not sure about Mary’s blouse. It’s not a style that flatters anyone. Isabella’s top is a good colour, slightly too deep cleavage for my taste. Happy to see all of her siblings joined in for the occasion.

    To Cinci:
Princess Märtha from Norway is King Fredriks cousin, so Märtha is Isabellas aunt and they do look alike.

No, you are wrong anon at 09:09. Norway's king Harald V and Denmark's king Frederik X are second cousins. Märtha is not Isabella's aunt because aunt is your father's or mother's sister. So Märtha and Isabella are third cousins.

You are right. That is why I asked myself : Aren't they related ?
Ressemblence goes sometimes back tot common great grand-parents.

What a lovely family--everyone of them blessed with good looks and health! They also appear to be very close to each other. Everyone looks great to celebrate Isabella's big day. Queen Mary is wearing a pretty summery top and I love her whole outfit. Josephine looks pretty and comfortable in her shorts and top. But, the star of the day is Isabella--love, love, love her outfit--perfect the Danish national colors. She has grown into being a beautiful young lady. Congratulations to her on her success and achievement!
