On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Princess Charlène of Monaco attended a new edition of Water Safety Day, organised by the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation on Bagno Flora Beach in Viareggio. Since 2014, this initiative has raised awareness among children about the fundamentals of water safety, lifesaving sports, and first aid.
This year, nearly fifty young participants from leisure centres and inclusive associations in Viareggio took part in educational and sporting workshops led by Stéphanie Barneix, Ambassador of the Foundation, and her team, alongside Italian lifeguards. The morning also featured demonstrations by the Italian Coast Guard and the Italian School of Rescue Dogs.

I like the crisp and clean look of this casual outfit. The white T-shirt is always in style and the cargo pants look great on Charlene's slim figure. The multiple pockets are useful and the dark tan colour is earthy.

ReplyDeleteI love that Charlene has the self-confidence not to wear wide-leg jeans in this instance, even though they are the norm these days, and skinny jeans are generally looked down on as dated. Also that she has chosen a perfectly fitted polo shirt, rather than a more trendy oversized one.
Instead of following those trends, Charlene has chosen items which honour her individual body shape and proportions --- and that will always give a timeless and stylish result, regardless of what is in or out of fashion. Lyra

DeleteIn sportive organizations people are not wearing wide-leg jeans. Polo shirts as far as I know are not worn oversized only T-shirts. People who are coming as spectators to see sports competitions (tennis or basket ball matches) are often wearing what is fashion wide pants and oversized tops or jackets. After or before the match there is often a diner for invited spectators. So if one is among the invited people one can see a whole variation of clothes, from almost evening wear to a more sportive look.
Little people are not beautiful in wide pants or long skirts. Lucky there are brands who are selling pants with wide, regular, small and extra small legs. Trying on several sorts of pants and skirts before buying as well as jackets and tops to wear with it is the best method to see what suits you. Unfortunately there are always people who do not see it themselves or have not enough self confidence and always need the advice of someone else (which results often in a completely wrong acquisition). Princess Charlene usually knows what to wear according the situation and she has excellent taste.
Well written and I agree with your comments about her approach to style. I find her endlessly stylish and unique and always look forward to photos of her events!
