On June 8, 2026, Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Solgaven, a care home operated by the Danish Association of the Blind (Dansk Blindesamfund) in Vejle. Upon her arrival, Princess Benedikte was welcomed by Centre Manager Jonna Torstensen, Residents' Council Chair Mona Weiss, Chair of the Solgaven Board Tanja Vegeberg Sørensen, as well as residents of Solgaven.
