Same for me and after reading about her education and passion for helping others, it makes this story even more sad for the family and country.

This is so very sad. I knew for a long time that she was in a coma, and had recently deteriorated. She was such a clever, beautiful, and accomplished woman. Now there is a question mark over who will succeed the king. A great loss.

I know this is a fashion blog and not a professional news site but, you kind of buried the lead. You say she was in a coma for more than three years. WHY?! You covered pretty much everything else about her life but that.

I know I'm old, and the school systems have changed over the years, but when I was in journalism classes in high school and college we were taught that you must cover "the five 'W's" for every story you write; Who, what, when, where, and WHY. Leave out any one of those and your report is incomplete. And if you don't know, or don’t have, the answer to any one of those 'W's you need to state that so that the reader will at least know you didn't overlook it due to incompetence.

17:00 that’s such an unfair assessment of the blog owner! The information you seek is instantly available with a good internet search. Go find it. It’s horrible to even mention the word incompetence on a private blog that kindly allows you to visit and comment.

AI to rescue of an incomplete story:
"Princess Bajrakitiyabha of Thailand fell into a coma in December 2022 due to a severely irregular heartbeat, which doctors attributed to a mycoplasma bacterial infection in her heart. The medical emergency initially happened when she suddenly lost consciousness while training her dogs for an army exhibition. After remaining on life support for approximately three and a half years, her condition ultimately worsened in April 2026 due to an intra-abdominal infection, severe colitis, blood clotting disorders, and heart rhythm complications. She passed away in June 2026."

She always dressed impeccably, stylish, in complimentary colours. I particularly like the blue dress with the pearl earrings. Her clothes were probably custom made for her, always elegant with being haute couture.

May she RIP. She seems to have been a down-to-earth person. It is always sad when a parent loses a child no matter how old the child is.

Very sad. Beautiful and accomplished woman. I hate to say it, but the circumstances surrounding her death are very strange and it's very interesting that this leaves a bit of a succession crisis.

  11. After the passing of Queen Sirikit, the current king's mother, last October (for whom the nation and the family still observes an extended mourning period), now sad news again from the Thai Royal Family. I hear that the king has ordered a top level state funeral. Already today, people clad in black have lined the streets to watch the body of the Princess being transferred from the hospital where she died to her lying in state in a hall within the Royal Palaces Bangkok.
