On June 8, 2026, Princess Aiko visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre in Ikebukuro to attend a concert by the Vienna Boys’ Choir. The Vienna Boys’ Choir presented Utagoe no Hibiki (“Echo of Singing Voices”), a song based on a Ryuka (traditional Okinawan poem) composed by Emperor Emeritus Akihito and set to music by Empress Emerita Michiko, as well as the beloved Japanese folk song Furusato.

    The bolero is too childish for Princess Aiko.
    I wonder if she will accompany her parents at the end of this month when they are on state visit in The Netherlands and Belgium. In Belgium it has been announced that King Philippe's and Queen Mathilde's four children will be present at the state banquet.

      I wonder why you associate bolero with childishness. I find it a great jacket to wear with a dress.

    I love that cropped jacket on her, and once again, I'm so pleased to see her doing yet another solo engagement, and with such confidence and genuine pleasure. Well done to Pss.Aiko. Keep up the good work!

    She looks lovely. I am not a fan of the short crop jacket, for me I would prefer the same cut but reaching her waist or just above. Love her hair this length, gives it body.

    Another solo engagement, this is wonderful. She is beaming, electric smile! I like her dress, very attractive. The bolero jacket looks nice and suits her, personally I don't like jackets at this length, minor quibble, that is my tastes! To her waistline would have looked even better imo. Her hair this length is very attractive. Always a joy to see her, she is gaining confidence and it shows. Well done to the Princess.

    今日６月９日は、天皇皇后両陛下の33回目のご結婚記念日です。
    皇太子妃のドレスは、バラの花をイメージして作られました。
    日本を代表するデザイナーである森英恵さんは、雅子様の第一印象を「バラの花のような人」と感じたそうです。
