Nice dress with interesting design at the neck/collar and slight A-line skirt. Even with the plaid, there’s nothing to grab the focus, so I’d prefer a dark belt or the darker sandals on the model.

I agree that the focus is missing. If Letizia were wearing this, (and it would suit her very well), her dark hair would anchor the look.
I dont know that a dark belt or darker shoes would help in this instance because the pattern would still pull attention away from Charlene's face.
If this pattern were in a lighter colour , say pale blue on white, I think it would suit her colouring beautifully. Lyra

  2. Charlene looks great in this subdued yet interesting plaid dress. I noticed the way the print of the pattern was placed in a way to create an illusion of pleats or darts in the front of the skirt. It might be they are real darts but I can't tell for sure. The bodice also looks like there is an overlap of fabric near the shoulders that is unique.

Until I read the designer,I thought it might have been ES or AMcQ. I was not expecting Beulah.
The dress sits perfectly on PC. Nicely accessorised nude pumps.
I like the pearl stud earrings matching up with the pearl buttons on the dress.

I can't get rid of thinking of a tablecloth. I don't like the pattern, maybe different colours could help because I also don't enjoy the colour composition. So one of the rare occasions that I profoundly dislike what Charlene wears.

The cut and style of this dress looks wonderful on Charlene, with the shoulder detail and a-line skirt. The check pattern is not overly vivid and is quite pretty.

She looks very good in this particular style, hides well the slightly unbalanced width of her shoulders. My first reaction was “oh, she’s wearing Ralph Lauren” bc of the print (he has hundreds of garments with this - or very similar- pattern).

It is however Beulah - regardless, looks very nice on her

I love the design of this dress very much and Charlene wears it perfectly. Almost like it was made for her.

  9. I like this. A bit different from Princess Charlene's usual style but perfect length and nice detailing
