The seven participating teams, which departed from Viareggio, Italy, on Friday, June 19, arrived in Monaco after nearly 24 hours of uninterrupted relay racing and completed the 225-kilometer water bike course. The finish of the 2026 edition of The Crossing Viareggio–Monaco took place at Larvotto Beach in Monaco, where Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène of Monaco were present to welcome the participants.

Team Lionheart, composed of Gustav Larsson, Veronika Larsson, Jeremy Josserand, and Alex Bennett, won the 2026 edition. The race crossed part of the Pelagos Sanctuary, bringing together two causes that are particularly important to the Princely Couple: drowning prevention, championed by Princess Charlène, and the protection of the marine environment.

En France, en Belgique, etc... des manifestations sportives ont été annullées à cause des températures trop élevées : 35 - 40 degrées Celsius ce dimanche après-midi.
