President Frank-Walter Steinmeier's State Visit to the Netherlands – Day 2

German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife, Elke Büdenbender, are currently undertaking a state visit to the Netherlands. On the second day of the state visit, Queen Máxima and Ms Büdenbender visited the International Criminal Court (ICC). During their visit, they met with ICC President Judge Tomoko Akane and Registrar Osvaldo Zavala.

Prime Minister Rob Jetten hosted a government lunch for Federal President Steinmeier and Ms Büdenbender at Duivenvoorde Castle in Voorschoten. The lunch was also attended by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands. Later, Queen Máxima and Ms Büdenbender visited Fenix, an art museum dedicated to migration in Rotterdam. They were given a tour and spoke with artists and staff.

    Een schoolmeisjeskransje met een pruik eraan, dit is geen outfit voor een 55 jarige.

    The dress is lovely and the soft colour too.
    The hairpiece is too childish and the shoes donot match a sweet dress: a kind of ballerina’s or baby- heels woud have been better.
