On June 9, 2026, King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway visited Beiarn Municipality in Nordland. In Moldjord, King Harald and Queen Sonja attended a community celebration featuring music, speeches, and meetings with people who contribute in various ways to the development of the local community.
Later in the day, the King and Queen visited Savjord Stave Church. There, they met stave church builder Magnus Stensland, who was responsible for constructing what is the northernmost replica of a stave church in the country.
On June 11, 2026, Queen Sonja – Centre Against Incest and Sexual Abuse, held at Oslo City Hall. The event brought together partners, employees, and people who currently use or have previously used the centre’s services.
Nok. Oslo works to increase awareness of and prevent incest and sexual abuse against children. The centre also provides free support services for people who experienced abuse during childhood and for their relatives and loved ones.
