The Apostolic Visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain is taking place from June 6 to June 12. During these days, King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía are participating in the celebrations organized on the occasion of the Holy Father's presence in Spain. On June 7, 2026, Pope Leo XIV presided over the Solemnity of Corpus Christi with a Mass and a subsequent Eucharistic procession through the capital.
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, accompanied by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, attended the Holy Mass presided over by His Holiness at Plaza de Cibeles. They were also present at Madrid City Hall, where Pope Leo received the keys to the city and signed the Book of Honor.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia wore a white custom-made taffeta midi dress by Self-Portrait. Princess Leonor wore a blue dress by Hannibal Laguna that had been shortened and specially altered. Infanta Sofía wore a green suit by Mirto.

Letizia looks great in this Self Portrait outfit. I'm sure the Princess of Wales has the same, in a beige colour? Her daughters look goid too; love the colour of the pale green pantsuit, and the lilac dress.

ReplyDeleteI prefer the light blue altered dress on Leonor than on the model. The blue shoes and handbag are so cute. Sofia is looking good in this special light green suit. I cannot see it very well but I think Sofia is wearing shoes with little heels too this time. Even a little heel looks always much more elegant than flat shoes. Q. Letizia's dress by Self-Portrait looks good, but I'd preferred a shorter, narrower skirt or a pleated skirt. The bodice of the dress is lovely with the special neckline and the 4 pockets.
Sofia is wearing flats, which she wore to Princess of Asturias awards ceremony.
DeleteEverybody lovely, and I am happy that I got the sheath dress I was whining about yesterday, having seen so many wide skirts lately. Letizia has a wide skirt today too, but never mind, she looks adorable - but Leonor has the dress I love first and foremost. The shoulder solution is beautiful and she shortened the dress! Well done.

All the outfits are lovely and reflect the different personalities of each wearer. The Princess of Wales does have the Self Portrait dress and I am pleased to see that The Queen also has the long length which to me is so attractive.

I don't normally like Self Portrait outfits, but this one is different. The skirt is not transparent, with that usually the under petti is shorter than the hemline, a pet hate of mine! This Midi dress is a wonderful, style, shape and I prefer this design. It fits the Queen beautifully. I find the design of this dress very flattering to the Queens shape. Sofia looks wonderful in this pantsuit, the mint color is so attractive. Even better the pantsuit fits her well, but the pants are the perfect length, refreshing so! Leonor's dress is also flattering to her shape, simple non fuss design, suiting her beautifully. The color is sublime. Her small pale blue bag is gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI hope that Pope Leo XIV. will visit my homeland. He was already in my country - as the superior general of the Augustinians and everyone praised his modesty and intelligence. I have already met two popes, so I hope I will have the honor of this one too.
