Pope Leo XIV began an official visit to Spain that includes a series of institutional and religious events. The Holy Father will remain in Spain from June 6 to June 12 and is scheduled to visit Madrid, Barcelona, and Tenerife. On June 6, 2026, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain welcomed Pope Leo XIV at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport upon his arrival in Spain, marking the beginning of his Apostolic Visit.
Later, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, accompanied by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, hosted a Welcome Ceremony for His Holiness Pope Leo XIV at the Royal Palace of Madrid. For the ceremony, Queen Letizia wore a white guipure dress by The 2ND Skin Co.

QL has so beatiful summery dress❤️
ReplyDeleteWe have seen this dress before I think … also with the Pope but in Roma? It’s stunning!
ReplyDeleteMaybe (probably :-) I am alone with this. Yes, I know, Letizia cannot wear high heels and I am not a fan of high heels anyway. But with a long and voluminous skirt like this, I would opt either for flat shoes, very elegant ballerinas, or shoes with a small heel but more heel volume, so to speak. These minuscule heels are like made for liliputian women ... somehow funny, not really elegant. - The dress is made for tiny waists, so it is of course beautiful on her.
