King Felipe and Queen Letizia Attend the Holy Mass Presided Over by Pope Leo XIV

The Apostolic Visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain is taking place from June 6 to June 12. During these days, King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía are participating in the celebrations organized on the occasion of the Holy Father's presence in Spain. On June 7, 2026, Pope Leo XIV presided over the Solemnity of Corpus Christi with a Mass and a subsequent Eucharistic procession through the capital.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, accompanied by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, attended the Holy Mass presided over by His Holiness at Plaza de Cibeles. They were also present at Madrid City Hall, where Pope Leo received the keys to the city and signed the Book of Honor.

For the occasion, Queen Letizia wore a white custom-made taffeta midi dress by Self-Portrait. Princess Leonor wore a blue dress by Hannibal Laguna that had been shortened and specially altered. Infanta Sofía wore a green suit by Mirto.
